Effective and Actionable

As a County Commissioner, I do not set or vote on public policy.  This responsibility is left to the state legislature.  County Commissioners are the executive elected officer of the county which is a sub-political entity of state government.  My ideological beliefs may not be required in the performance of a commissioners duties.  However, when representing the citizens of Cleveland County and specially District 1 to the cities and to the state legislature my conservative personal and political belief are carefully weighed along with overall public good.
