sessions. The bases of this law suite is the passage in 1992 of SQ 640. The original intent was to prevent the legislature from passing tax increases or revenues without a vote of the peoples
If the law suite is successful in applying SQ640 to both Tax Increases and Tax Decreases or Tax Credits, there could be some dramatic affects on not only the States Budget and dedicated revenue streams (Schools and Transportation) but to you personally.
- Disabled Veterans – $500 or more a year
- Senior Citizens – $1,000 or more a year
- Middle Class Family of 4 – $900 or more a year
- Single Mom – $200 or more a year
- Farmers could face hundreds of thousands of dollars in OK estate taxes
